TourismusSuite Dynamic Package

TourismusSuite® DP has especially been developed for tour operators aiming at successfully merchandising their touristic performances separately or as packages (event tour) by using the internet as distribution channel. Having considered experiences from the prodcts TourismusSuite® HOTEL and TourismusSuite® DESTINATION during the development a stable system can be provided, which has already been tested in use.

Analogue to the product philosophy of the TourismusSuite, TourismusSuite® DP can also be integrated without any difficulties into consisting portals. The customer gets the impression of acting on a portal being already familiar with, which considerably reduces cancellation of bookings. In addition the system is multi-lingually designed without any restrictions targeting international clientele of the tour operator.

Merchandising via several distribution channels

Distribution modules integrated into the portal of the tour operator as well as the complete shopping basket can optionally be multiplied and also homogeneously be integrated into foreign portals of the tour operator's partners. On the one hand the partner grades up the function of his own portal and gets a fee for each arranged booking. On the other hand the tour operator maximises his turnover. Fee regulations can individually be deposited within the TourismusSuite® DP.

Particular distribution modules for sales promotion

Distribution modules provided by the TourismusSuite® DP enable the customer to realise bookings via the internet in a simple but still flexible way. Even in case of a large number of single touristic performances the system still provides a clearly arranged presentation. The filter technique, especially developed for this case, supports the customer to clearly select and book the right product for his needs.

All performances deposited in the system can separately be merchandised or can be assembled to a flexible performance module via the Dynamic Packaging module. The tour operator decides about the extent how the customer can modulate his tour. The customer can, for example, select the hotel category he prefers and choose the category of touristic performances according to his requirements before booking them as complete event tour.

During the sales process via the different distribution modules numerous regulations deposited in the system make sure that performances are offered with all current fees used in the tourism industry, such as “Reisepreissicherungsschein”, shipping cost and “Refundierungsgebühren”. Combination of performances via the shopping basket

Any touristic performance can first be collected in the shopping basket before the customer starts the booking process. If he is not yet able to make a decision, he uses the notepad module.

Similar to typical shop systems, the shopping basket of the TourismusSuite® DP as well enables the customer after previous login to call up information regarding already realised bookings or to modify his profile. The system currently supports private and corporate customers, divided into existing and new customers.

Supervision via backoffice

To capture touristic information and merchandise performances in a sales-oriented way, the TourismusSuite® DP provides an efficient and multi-client-capable backoffice. Handling is realised via a commercial internet browser, thus enabling worldwide access independent from a system.

In the backoffice all information can quickly be captured in a structured manner via the integrated touristic Content Management System (CMS). After having disposed merchandising regulations, master data, service providers and performances the tour operator can start to merchandise his products.

Special customer retention modules such as the integrated Customer Relationship Management module including contact history and turnover overview make sure that the customer always takes the centre stage for the tour operator.

Invoicing is realised via the Fibu (financial accounting) module, especially developed for this product and correctly processing all performances from the financial point of view, up to dunning runs.
